Your hands can age you. Do you think that's silly? If you've ever looked down at your hands in the middle of the winter and gasped at how your super dry hands are making you look like you have the hands of a 90 year old, then you understand. Cold temps, dry air and then add in lots of hand washing during cold and flu season and you too can get your own version of the 90 year old hand syndrome.
So our cabinets are filled with great smelling lotions and creams and some of those products are truly effective, however how effective can they really be if you have to continously wash your hands throughout the day? Keep using those hand creams during the day but also try using Aquaphor. During the day it can be a little greasy but if you apply Aquaphor at night before bed and even throw on some of those moisture enhancing gloves, you'll see improvement. (Effective and inexpensive by the way). Aquaphor heals cracked and dry skin but the nice folks at Aquaphor also have a list of other ways to use the product in your daily beauty routine.
