A new ad promoting Beyonce's latest album surfaced today and the internet exploded with accusations of skin-lightening.
This isn't the first time that photos of Beyonce have been criticized for her skin appearing lighter than its actual shade. In 2008 L'Oreal came under fire and was accused of lightening Beyonce's skin in a Feria ad. This time around the world wants to know- photoshop to lighten Beyonce's skin or is it just lighting?
There are many things that can attribute to a photographer's subject's skin appearing lighter, or darker, in a photograph, including lighting and makeup. So what do you think?
