New Show: Hair Battle Spectacular

“Hair Battle Spectacular” premieres Tuesday, August 10th on the Oxygen network. The new show is a competition between ten stylists. The grand prize of $100,000 goes to the stylist that creates the biggest and best in fantasy hair design.
The contestants are judged on the total look which includes hair, makeup and clothing in a limited amount of time.
Each challenge requires contestants to create outrageous designs that resemble everything from multi-layer wedding cakes to moveable pieces.
After each challenge the judges, which include fantasy hair designer Derek J and Celebrity Stylist Lindsay Albanese, critique the designers on creativity, execution and overall presentation.
The show is hosted by actress Brooke Burns and debuts on Oxygen on Tuesday, August 10th at 10/9C.
