On July 30, 2010, Makeup Artist Gali Tsoar-Ron is launching the Makeup Portal (http://makeupportal.com/), a new online makeup "school" with the purpose of teaching consumers techniques without leaving their computer.
The website's main offering is a six-month course composed of weekly lessons in which step-by-step video and text instructions guide participants from basic techniques to disguising or concealing imperfections to an array of complete looks.
"Most important, Makeup Portal members can upload a personal photo and receive individual guidance from a makeup artist who has examined the photo," stated Tsoar-Ron. "The approach is very personal. Everyone has a different look, and we tailor expert feedback to enhance each person's face, eyes and lips."
Each lesson will include individualized tips based on the member's photo.
The Makeup Portal provides each member with an online account for storing all of their lessons and personalized tips. Every week, members receive an e-mail introduction to the week's lesson, then log in to their personal section and review the current and past lessons as well as new articles and news updates.
Tsoar-Ron is also offering five bonuses to site members who register during the current promotional period:
1. Ongoing private consultations based on a member photo uploaded to the profile page.
2. Color wheel lesson and personal printable tutorial on understanding and concealing skin pigmentation problems, skin imperfections and different color spots.
3. "Five-Minute Makeup" plan for busy women or women who prefer not to look "made-up," demonstrating how to achieve a clean and natural look quickly.
4. Substantial discount on Makeup Portal Makeup Kit of top-quality items for course-takers.
5. Free makeup guide e-book containing makeup tips and techniques as well as descriptions of many trendy looks.
