Roxanne Valinoti is an Education Ambassador for CND (Creative Nail Design). We asked her about her personal journey in the beauty business, new & future Trends for Nails and Education Programs at CND.
YBI: How did you get started in this industry?
RV: I have always had a love for beauty. I started having my nails done professionally at the age of 13. My mom did nails for a short time and I would experiment with all of her products. After going to college for a short time and studying accounting, I left to pursue a career in beauty. I went to cosmetology school in 1994 for a license in Nail Specialty. I wanted to learn everything there was to know about nails and there was only one company that stood out among the competition - CND, then Creative Nail Design.
