Strange Beauty Trends

I'm a big fan of "strange", especially when it comes to beauty and fashion but there are a few trends that totally freak me out, specifically anything that involves contact lenses. Every time I turn around the trends in beauty and fashion get a little stranger- don’t get me wrong, they’re not all bad, in fact some of them are actually awesome, but definitely strange.
Strange Beauty Trends
Dior Contact Lenses- will you be wearing contact lenses with the Christian Dior logo on them?
This is real and it scares me. Really? Christian Dior on your eyeballs?
Lady Gaga- head to toe, strange (sometimes strange works).
Pointed nails- vampires are definitely in, which is cool but the long pointed nail trend freaks me out.
This is a picture of Fergie's nails, something about her nails shaped like this painted a nude color makes it worse for me. If you're going to go this route go all out and do black or something metallic. This might as well be a picture of my crazy Great Aunt Estelle.
The half-shaved head look- this one is over right? I hope. Wasn’t it strange when random celebrities started shaving half of their heads?
This is Cassie, she was one of the first in this odd wave. When we spoke to Lala Vazquez (former MTV VJ/Actress) she said growing this out was a big pain and she won't be doing that again any time soon.
When Rihanna shaved some of her head, it didn't bother me at all. She did it right and she can do whatever she wants as far as I concerned and still look cool. (Shout out to her fabulous hair stylist Ursula Stephen).
Vagazzaling- remember when Jennifer Love Hewitt told everyone she had her va-ja-jay bedazzled with Swarovski crystals?
Is this a trend? Or is it just Jennifer Love Hewitt who does this? You tell me, I have no idea. I try not to ask my girlfriends about what's going on down below.
Creepy giant eyes- I’m back to contact lenses, this time it’s “circle lenses”. They’re contacts made to cover not only your iris but part of the white part of your eyes to make them look big and doe-like.
They come in both regular and un-natural colors, some with special designs on them. These are NOT available in the US yet but teenage girls are ordering them online from websites in Canada and Asia (special note for this one, the FDA says these suckers could cause blindness).
